Hi, yes, most defintely the best way to improve e-commerce SEO, is most definitely to write "Evergreen Content Marketing", and to also obtain "do-follow backlinks", yet the links must be quality backlinks. Hope this helps?

I am also having trouble with my website not ranking, I've optimized it with proper SEO, keyword research, and human-written articles. Still, my posts are not getting indexed, and published posts are not ranking.

especially after the latest Google core update march 2024, my site, [OnlineEbill] (https://onlineebill.pk/), is completely down

I have been working as an SEO for quite a while now and below are a few of the strategies that must be executed.

Optimize for Relevant Keywords: Conduct thorough keyword research related to equipment rental services. Use these keywords strategically in your website's content, meta tags, and headers.

Quality Content: Create high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that addresses the needs of your target audience. Regularly update your blog with industry news, tips, and equipment guides.

On-Page SEO: Optimize on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, and image alt text. Ensure your website is structured logically with a clear hierarchy and easy navigation.

Mobile Optimization: With an increasing number of users accessing the internet via mobile devices, ensure your website is mobile-friendly—google values mobile-responsive websites in its search rankings.

Backlink Building: Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites in the equipment rental industry. This can be achieved through outreach, partnerships, and creating shareable content.

Local SEO: Optimize your website for local searches by claiming and updating your Google My Business listing. Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews.

Social Media Presence: Maintain an active presence on social media platforms relevant to your industry. Share your content, engage with your audience, and promote your services.

Page Speed Optimization: Improve your website's loading speed for a better user experience. This is a crucial factor in search engine rankings.

Monitor Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track your website's performance. Analyze user behaviour, identify popular content, and make data-driven decisions to enhance your site's visibility.

Regular Updates: Stay informed about search engine algorithms and updates. Regularly update your website to align with the latest SEO best practices.

                        ranking ranking issue

I am trying to work out why from March 4th Google is not seeing my posts. Our google impressions have dropped from 8,000 to 40. If you put in the full article name with speach marks it does not find it, and instead shows the home page in google. We have not had any warnings. We did have work done on our site but nothing else i could think of to cause this. Can anyone let me know what may have caused this. All articles are original

Hello! We are an online marketplace that submitted our sitemap through Google Search Console 2 weeks ago. Although the sitemap has been submitted successfully, out of ~10000 links (we have ~10000 product pages), we only have 25 that have been indexed. I've attached images of the reasons given for not indexing the platform. gsc-dashboard-1 gsc-dashboard-2 How would we go about fixing this?

Collections or blog posts for Shopify ecommerce seo?

                        shopify ecommerce seo

Hi, hope you guys can help as I am going down a rabbit hole with this one! We have a solid-ranking sports nutrition site and are building a new SEO keyword strategy on our Shopify built store. We are using collections (categories) for much of the key product-based seo. This is because, as we understand it, Google prioritises collection/category pages over product pages. Should we then build additional collection pages to rank for secondary product search terms that could fit a collection page structure (eg 'vegan sports nutrition'), or should we use blog posts to do this? We have a quality blog with good unique content and reasonable domain authority so both options are open to us. But while the collection/category option may be best for SEO, too many collections/categories could upset our UX. We have a very small product range (10 products) so want to keep navigation fast and easy. Our 7 lead keyword collection pages do this already. More run the risk of upsetting ease/speed of site navigation. On the other hand, conversion rate from collection pages is historically much better than blog pages. We have made major technical upgrades to the blog to improve this but these are yet to be tested in anger. So at the heart of it all - do you guys recommend favouring blog posts or collection/category pages for secondary high sales intent keywords? All help gratefully received - thanks!

Introduce customer reviews and ratings onto our product pages

                        reviews ecommerce schema product page

Hi, I'm looking to introduce historical customer reviews onto our product pages but i want an opinion on whether a product page that's indexed will jump from 0 reviews to possible 30+, what if any problems that could arise from this.. For a bit of background, we've been collecting customer reviews/ratings since 2015 on our internal system. I'm only looking to start using feedback from 2020 onwards. The current set up is that the product page will display the latest 30 reviews, on the same page is a link that will take the user to another page where they can review all the customer feedback. I'm using Google Schema to markup the text to ensure it is firstly understood by google and displays correctly too. So back to my original question. Will an e-commerce product page that currently has no customer reviews that is indexed, been seen differently if when the next time it's crawled its found to have, say 30+ reviews? Are there any implications this way? What's your experience? I look forward to reading your feedback.
                        Thanks

                        Struggling to re-rank website

A client of ours - www.helenbattphotography.com - was ranking well for local keywords. However, the rankings started to drop as of January this year (slowly) and quite considerably since May. We have not had any Google penalties. To date we have gone through backlinks and removed a few low quality/dubious links that were built around 5 years ago by another agency the client was using and also disavowed some others. This was done around 2 months ago. No impact to date. The website is hovering around page 4 and 5 for the keywords that it used to rank for on page 1 for. We are really struggling to increase the rankings for this client. We have introduced good, unqiue content to the site - not that this was ever really a problem on the site - but this has also made little difference. Would be great to get some feedback on the site and any obvious pointers that we might be missing here - a case of not being able to see the wood through the trees. Thanks

What do you do if you have been hit by recent Google updates but cannot remove the links?

We have a potential new client who did their own SEO about 6-7 years ago. They ranked really well for years then obviously recently got hit. Some of the links they have are shocking, directories, articles sites etc.  They did not use links farms but the links do not look great at all.   The problem is they do not have log ins to remove these links manually themselves.  Asking for a reconsideration with Google will not get us anywhere due to more recent link building issues we are trying to resolve. They have sent removal requests at least 10 times to these sites but no response.  Has anyone overcome these types of issues previously and can give any tips? This would be a good client for us so keen to see what I can do to get them on-board.

                        Slapped by Google update

Last couple of days we read things about Google algorithm and some things about companies or people doing "negative seo".. At first, nothing was wrong... if you play the game by the rules you won't get penalized you think... right? Today I checked rankings for some sites we're optimizing, and I fell of my chair! A site that was building better rankings week by week just dropped heavily and we have no clue if it's the algorithm update... Attached there are some screenshots, the first one showing the ranking for one of the most important keywords for that business, the others are link profiles & moztrust & rank for that root domain. As you can see, link profiles are much stronger that competitors, but that important keyword is dropping in rankings... We still have to do some on page optimizations (double title tags & some some canonical tags that have to be added, but that can't be the reason for this major drop?? Or am I missing something??? Any ideas? Are External Followed links growing to fast? (The blue line in screenshots is the site we're working on) rankings-may.jpg moztrust.jpg followed-links.jpg

Is posting our original articles on competitor websites with a linkback beneficial?

We are receiving requests to repost our articles in full on competitor websites. Our competitors have expressed they are fine with linking back to our homepage, and the original source page. Would this benefit us, or do more harm than good?
