      Hi, everyone.

I want to know if you know any way to get DA & PA metrics with any software (not Netpeak Checker please, is very low) or any add-on for Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel (like Majestic has for Google Sheets).

Up today any software works always and sometimes the results are not really.

Please, team of MOZ and Community, help me.

And team of MOZ, the SEOs around the world need a solution for this. We scrapped many domains every day for build our privates blogs networks and also for search opportunities for link our sites. Please, provide us anyway (software, tool in your suite, I don't know) for this essential function in the SEO World.

      Thanks!

Up today any software works always and sometimes the results are not really.

          Hey there,

There are several tools and add-ons available for obtaining Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) metrics other than Netpeak Checker. These metrics, originally developed by Moz, are widely used in SEO to estimate the strength of a domain or a page. Here are some options that integrate well with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or standalone software:

MozBar: Moz itself offers the MozBar, a Chrome extension that provides DA and PA scores directly in your browser while you surf the web. While it's not a Google Sheets or Excel add-on, it's a straightforward way to get these metrics quickly.

SEOquake: SEOquake is another browser extension available for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. It provides a plethora of SEO metrics, including DA and PA. SEOquake can display these metrics directly in search engine results pages (SERPs), making it a convenient tool for quick assessments.

Ahrefs: Ahrefs is a comprehensive SEO tool that offers a wide range of metrics including their own Domain Rating (DR) and URL Rating (UR), which are similar to Moz's DA and PA. While Ahrefs doesn't have a direct add-on for Google Sheets or Excel, it offers an API that can be integrated into custom scripts, allowing you to pull data directly into these platforms.

SEMrush: SEMrush is another comprehensive SEO platform that offers a wide range of metrics and insights, including authority scores. Like Ahrefs, SEMrush also provides API access for pulling data into Google Sheets or Excel through custom scripts or integrations.

Google Sheets Add-ons and Scripts: For direct integration with Google Sheets, you can use custom scripts or add-ons that utilize APIs from SEO tools like Moz, Ahrefs, or SEMrush. For example, you can use the IMPORTXML function in Google Sheets to fetch data from web pages or APIs that provide these metrics.

Majestic: As you mentioned Majestic, it's worth noting that Majestic offers its own metrics (Trust Flow and Citation Flow) that are similar to DA and PA. They have a Google Sheets add-on, allowing for easy integration of their data into your spreadsheets.

          Cheers Tom,

Hey there, thanks for writing in!

The only way to check for Domain Authority, Page Authority or Spam Score in bulk would be our Mozscape API. You can read all about the API and how it works and what's required over in our Help Hub pages, here: https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-api/mozscape/overview

Unsolved Why Did My Site's DA Go Down After Adding New Links?

domain authority link building website optimization

Hi Moz Community, I've noticed my website's DA https://clean4u.org fell from 12 to 11 after adding a few links. I thought these were quality links, so I'm puzzled about the drop. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows why this could happen? Any advice or insight would be great! Thanks!

domain authority link building link building whitehat

Hi, I have launch a new website, lorraine on october of 2021 and I have added it to a bunch a local and national directories to improme it local rankings. But when I get the domain authority and link data from MOZ it has only ten links and no one of them is from local/national directories. I have three questions: Do you know if it is normal that after 9 months DA is 1? Is there any problem with local/national directory links? I dont like buy links like others do but it seems the only way to improve domain authority and rankings.

                      /index.php causing a few issues

Hey Mozzers, Our site uses magento. Pages within the site (not categories or products) are set to display as www.domain.co.uk/page-url/ The hta access is set to redirect all version such as www.domain.co.uk/page-url  to a url ending in a / However in google analytics and in moz landing page tracker these urls are being represented by www.domain.co.uk/page-url/index.php When visiting www.domain.co.uk/page-url/index.php a 404 is displayed. I know that by default when directed to a directory it automatically finds and displays the index file. So i understand why this is happening to some degree. However, when manually visiting this link does not exist. This poses a problem when trying to view the landing pages information in moz pro. I have 20 keywords being tracked in relation to www.domain.co.uk/page-url/ but because moz is recording it as www.domain.co.uk/page-url/index.php the keywords are unrelated so not showing information in relation to the page. Any ideas?

Bulk download of crawl diagnostics csv files for multiple campaigns - any idea how to

HI All, I was wondering if Moz has something that allows me to "Bulk download of crawl diagnostics csv files for multiple campaigns"?  Or are there APIs out there? I am trying to download all the campaigns diagnostics (High & Medium crawl-issues) on a regular basis, then with these cvs files then run some bulk extracts etc etc ... Appreciate any hint? Thank heaps 😉 Amy

Suggestion - How to improve OSE metrics for DA & PA

I am sure everyone is aware at Moz, that although the Moz link metrics ( primarily I am talking about DA & PA) are good, there is a lot of room for improvement, and that there are a lot of areas where the metric values given to some types of site are well out of whack with what their "real" values should be. Some examples
                      www.somuch.com  (Link Directory) - DA 72
                      www.articlesbase.com (Article Directory) - DA 89
www.ezinearticles.com (Article Directory) - DA 91 I'm sure everyone would agree that links from these domains are not as powerful (if of any value at all), as their DA would suggest, and therefore by definition of how moz metrics work, the sites these have links from such sites are also inflated - thus they throw the whole link graph out of whack. I have 2 suggestions which could be used to singularly or in conjunction (and obviously with other factors that Moz use to calculate DA and PA) which could help move these values to what they should more realistically be. 1/. Incorporate rank values.
This is effectively using rank values to reverse engine what google (or other engines) as a "value" on a website. This could be achieved (if moz were not to build the data gathering system itself), by intergrating with a company that already provides this data - eg searchmetrics, semrush etc. As an example you would take a domian and pull in some rank values eg http://www.semrush.com/info/somuch.com?db=us  - where you could use traffic, traffic price, traffic history as a metric as part of the overall Moz scoring alogrithm. As you can see from my example according to SEMRush the amount of traffic and traffic price is extreamly low for what you would expect of a website that has a DA of 72.  Likewise you will find this for the other two sites and similarly to pretty much any other site you will test. This is essentially because your tapping into Googles own ranking factors, and thereby more inline with what real values (according to Google) are with respect to the quality of a website. Therefore if you were to incorporate these values, I believe you could improve the Moz metrics. 2/. Social Sharing Value
Another strong indicator of quality the amount of social sharing of a document or website as a whole, and again you will find as with my examples, that pages on these sites have low social metrics in comparison to what you would normally associate with sites of these DA values. Obviously to do this you would need to pull social metrics of all the pages in your link DB. Or if this we to tech intense to achieve, again work with a partner such as searchmetrics, which provide "Total Social Interations" on a domain level basis. Divide this value by the number of Moz crawled pages and you would have a crude value of the overall average social scorability of a webpage on a given site. Obviously both the above, do have their flaws if you looked at them in complete isolation, however in combination they could provide a robust metric to use in any alogrithm, and in combination with current moz values used in the alogrithm I believe you could make big strides into improving overall Moz metrics.
