Some country level domains and new generic domains have spam scores by default, is it some kind of discrimination? 😫

This new site News24 Thailand and Thai Business News are such examples. These are fresh sites and already have high spam scores from nowhere....

Reducing the spam score of your website is crucial to maintain its reputation and avoid search engine penalties. A lower spam score indicates to search engines that your website is trustworthy and not engaged in spammy activities. Here are some steps to help you reduce your website's spam score:

        Regularly Monitor Your Website:

Regularly check your website for any signs of malware, suspicious links, or unwanted content.
Set up Google Webmaster Tools (now called Google Search Console) to receive alerts and notifications about any issues detected by Google.
        Update and Secure Your Website:

Keep your website's software, plugins, and themes up to date to patch security vulnerabilities.
Implement strong security measures, including firewalls, regular backups, and SSL certificates to protect against hacking and data breaches.
        Review User-Generated Content:

If your website allows user-generated content (e.g., comments, forums, user profiles), implement moderation to prevent spammy or malicious content from being published.
Use CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA to deter automated bots from submitting spam.
Use an Antivirus and Anti-Malware Scanner:

Regularly scan your website for malware and vulnerabilities using security tools and plugins.
Remove any infected files or compromised code promptly.
Check for Broken Links and Redirects:

Fix broken links and ensure that redirects on your website are legitimate and not leading to spammy or malicious websites.
        Content Quality:

Ensure that the content on your website is high-quality, relevant, and not plagiarized.
Avoid keyword stuffing and overly promotional content.
        Backlinks:

Monitor your website's backlink profile regularly.
Disavow or request the removal of low-quality or spammy backlinks that may be harming your site's reputation.
        Avoid Hidden Text and Cloaking:

Ensure that your website's text and links are visible to users and not hidden from view.
Avoid cloaking, where content is presented differently to search engines and users.
        Monitor for Spammy Keywords:

Regularly check your website's content for spammy keywords or phrases.
Ensure that your content is written for human readers and not solely for search engine optimization.
        Use a Reputable Hosting Provider:

Choose a reputable hosting provider that offers strong security measures and server-side protections against spam and malware.
        Follow Webmaster Guidelines:

Familiarize yourself with search engine guidelines (e.g., Google's Webmaster Guidelines) and ensure that your website complies with them.
        Implement Structured Data Correctly:

If you use structured data (schema markup), make sure it is implemented accurately and ethically, following search engine guidelines.
        Request a Review:

If your website has been flagged as spammy by search engines, you can request a review through Google Search Console once you have addressed the issues.
Reducing your website's spam score is an ongoing process that requires regular monitoring and maintenance. It's essential to maintain a clean and trustworthy online presence to improve your website's reputation and search engine rankings.

Reducing the spam score of a website or email involves taking various measures to improve its reputation and credibility in the eyes of spam filters and spam detection systems. Here are some steps you can take to reduce the spam score:

Quality Content: Ensure that your website or email content is valuable, relevant, and not misleading. Avoid using excessive capitalization, excessive punctuation, or overly promotional language.

Avoid Spammy Keywords: Refrain from using known spam trigger words and phrases in your content. These include words like "guaranteed," "free," "buy now," and excessive use of exclamation marks.

Authentication: Implement proper email authentication methods such as SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) for your emails to prove their legitimacy.

List Quality: If you're sending marketing emails, ensure that your email list is clean and contains only opted-in subscribers. Remove bounced or inactive email addresses promptly.

Unsubscribe Option: Include a clear and easy-to-use unsubscribe link in your marketing emails. Honoring unsubscribe requests promptly is essential.

Double Opt-In: Implement a double opt-in process for email subscriptions. This ensures that subscribers confirm their intent to receive emails from you.

Reputation Monitoring: Monitor your sender reputation using tools like SenderScore or Postmaster Tools for Gmail. A poor sender reputation can lead to emails being marked as spam.

Avoid URL Shorteners: Some URL shorteners are associated with spam. Avoid using them in your emails or on your website.

Regular Updates: Keep your website and software up to date to prevent vulnerabilities that could be exploited by spammers.

Use a Reliable Hosting Provider: Choose a reputable hosting provider for your website. Some hosting providers are known for hosting spammy websites, which can affect your domain's reputation.

Check for Malware and Hacks: Regularly scan your website for malware and security vulnerabilities. Hackers may use your site to send spam without your knowledge.

Feedback Loop: If you send emails in bulk, sign up for feedback loops with major email service providers. This allows you to receive notifications about spam complaints and take action.

Engagement: Encourage engagement with your emails and website, such as opening emails, clicking on links, and leaving comments. High engagement can improve your sender or domain reputation.

Here are some steps you can take:

Quality Content: Ensure that your website has high-quality, original, and valuable content. Avoid plagiarism or copying content from other sources. Google and other search engines value unique and informative content.

Backlink Audit: Conduct a thorough backlink audit to identify and disavow spammy or low-quality backlinks. Tools like Moz and Google Search Console can help you identify these links.

Link Building Carefully: Be cautious when building new backlinks. Focus on acquiring links from reputable and relevant websites in your niche. Avoid buying links or participating in link schemes.

Regularly Update and Maintain: Keep your website up to date and regularly maintain it. Outdated content or broken links can contribute to a higher spam score.

User Engagement: Engage with your audience through comments and social media. A website with active user engagement is less likely to be considered spammy.

Avoid Keyword Stuffing: Don't overuse keywords in your content. Keyword stuffing can trigger spam signals. Instead, focus on natural and relevant keyword usage.

Secure Your Site: Ensure that your website is secure with HTTPS. Google considers security a ranking factor, and an unsecured site may be seen as spammy.

Monitor Your Spam Score: Keep an eye on your spam score using tools like Moz or SEMrush. Regularly check for changes and take corrective actions as needed.

Seek Professional Help: If you're unsure about how to reduce your spam score or have a high score that's hard to bring down, consider hiring an SEO expert who can provide personalized guidance.

Remember that reducing your spam score may take time, especially if you have a history of spammy SEO practices. Be patient and focus on creating a high-quality, user-friendly website that adds value to your audience.

Why new sites have high spam scores?

I think there's something not right about this mechanism.
For example, Thailand Scoop and News24 Thailand are relevant new sites and posts only news content.

Reducing spam scores is often a priority for organizations to manage and filter out unwanted or malicious emails. There are several measures you can take to reduce your spam score:

Ensure your email lists are clean: Regularly clean up your email lists by removing invalid, inactive, or unsubscribed email addresses. This helps you maintain a healthy list and prevents you from sending emails to addresses that no longer exist or are inactive.

Use double opt-in for subscriber confirmation: Implement a double opt-in process for subscribers, where they have to confirm their subscription via email before being added to your list. This confirms that the subscriber genuinely wants to receive your emails, reducing the likelihood of spam complaints.

Avoid using spammy keywords and phrases: Refrain from using phrases or keywords that commonly trigger spam filters. Examples include using excessive exclamation points, writing in all caps, or using phrases like "make money fast" or "get rich quick." Craft your emails with genuine and professional language.

Authenticate your emails: Implement email authentication protocols such as Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) to ensure that your emails are properly verified and not spoofed.

Monitor feedback loops and spam complaints: Set up feedback loops with major email providers to receive notifications of spam complaints. Address any issues promptly, investigate the cause of the complaints, and take necessary actions to avoid future problems.

Utilize a reliable email service provider (ESP): Choose an ESP that has a good reputation and maintains a clean sending infrastructure. Reputable ESPs often have measures in place to ensure their clients' emails have better deliverability rates.

By following these strategies, you can reduce your spam score and improve your email deliverability, ensuring that your legitimate messages reach your intended recipients' inboxes.

There are a few things you can do to reduce your spam score:

Use a permission-based email list. This means only sending emails to people who have explicitly opted in to receive your emails.
Keep your email list clean. Remove any email addresses that are no longer valid or that have bounced.
Use a clear and concise subject line. Avoid using all caps or exclamation points, as these can be seen as spammy.
Keep your emails short and to the point. People are more likely to read and open emails that are brief and relevant.
Use a good email marketing platform. A good email marketing platform will help you track your spam score and make sure your emails are delivered to the inbox.
Avoid using spammy language. This includes using words like free, guaranteed, and act now.
Use a good ESP (Email Service Provider). An ESP can help you improve your deliverability by providing you with tools and resources to manage your email list, create effective emails, and track your results.
Use a double opt-in process. This means that people have to confirm their email address before they are added to your list. This helps to reduce the number of spam complaints.
Use a clear unsubscribe link. Make it easy for people to unsubscribe from your list if they no longer want to receive your emails.
Don't buy email lists. Buying email lists is a surefire way to get your emails marked as spam.
Be patient. It takes time to build a good email list and reduce your spam score. Don't expect to see results overnight.

I have my website which has a spam score over 16% but I created almost 50 plus unique and high authority backlinks with a spam score below 5%. After doing this my website spam score went down to 4% from 20%. So, do this and you will solve your issue like I did that. (Canada PR, Study abroad, best digital marketing agency)

You can easily reduce your spamscore by removing the spammy websites from google search console or by getting a backlink from high authority domain such as wikipedia, or tool based websites such as yes no wheel.

Reducing the spam score of your website is crucial for maintaining a positive online reputation and improving your SEO performance. The spam score is often associated with the quality of your backlink profile and the overall health of your site.

Here are some steps to help you reduce the spam score on your website:

                                      • Audit Your Backlinks: Conduct a thorough audit of your backlinks to identify any low-quality or spammy links pointing to your site. Tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMrush can help you analyze your backlink profile.

                                      • Disavow Harmful Links: Use Google's Disavow Tool to inform Google that you don't want certain links to be considered when assessing your site's ranking. Be cautious when using this tool, as disavowing legitimate links can negatively impact your SEO.

                                      • Build High-Quality Links: Focus on acquiring high-quality, relevant, and authoritative backlinks from reputable sources within your niche. Quality over quantity is key.

                                      • Check Content Quality: Ensure that your website's content is original, valuable, and relevant to your target audience. Avoid using duplicate content or keyword stuffing, as these practices can contribute to a higher spam score.

                                      • Fix Technical Issues: Address technical problems on your website, such as broken links, slow page load times, and mobile responsiveness. A well-functioning website is less likely to be associated with spam.

                                      • Update Plugins and Software: Keep your website's plugins, themes, and software up to date to reduce vulnerabilities that could be exploited by spammers.

                                      • Monitor User-Generated Content: If your website allows user-generated content, closely monitor it to prevent spammy or irrelevant content from being published.

                                      • Improve User Experience: Focus on creating a positive user experience with clear navigation, easy-to-read content, and intuitive design. A good user experience can indicate to search engines that your site is trustworthy.

                                      • Check for Malware: Regularly scan your website for malware or security vulnerabilities. Malicious code on your site can trigger a higher spam score.

                                      • Avoid Link Schemes: Avoid participating in link schemes or buying links, as these practices can lead to a higher spam score and potential penalties.

                                      • Submit Reconsideration Requests: If you believe your site has been penalized by search engines due to a high spam score, you can submit reconsideration requests after taking corrective actions.

Remember that reducing your spam score is a gradual process, and it may take some time to see improvements. Consistently following ethical SEO practices and maintaining a high-quality online presence will help you achieve a lower spam score and better search engine rankings.

Ensure a lower spam score by eliminating high spam score backlinks from your website. Alternatively, utilize the disavow method provided by Google. I successfully employed this technique to remove spam links from my Spotify website.

If you operate a normal site or blog, you should not have spam score issue- unless you got a backlink service that got you spammy links, in that case you need to disavow those links.

BTW: A Chinese friend of mine who run news sites told me that his domain receive default spam scores just because it's the China TLD - https://www.atpress.cn

After doing this my website spam score went down to 4% from 61%. So, do this and you will solve your issue like I did that.

To reduce the spam score of your website, here are some steps you can take, which I have already taken for my Website "https://hindivilla.in/" and already reduced the spam score. Practical steps are given below.

Regularly monitor your website for spam: Keep an eye on user-generated content such as comments, forum posts, and contact forms. Remove any questionable or irrelevant content promptly.

Implement CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA: Adding CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA to your website's forms can help differentiate between genuine users and bots, reducing the chances of spam submissions.

Use a reliable anti-spam plugin or service: Install and configure a reputable anti-spam plugin or service that can effectively detect and block spammy activities on your website.

Tadalista super active 20mg is a brand of medication that contains the active ingredient tadalafil. Tadalafil belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.

Tadalista Super Active is promoted as having a fast-acting formula, implying that it may start working more quickly compared to other formulations of tadalafil. However, it's important to note that the actual onset and duration of action may vary from person to person.

Like other PDE5 inhibitors, Tadalista Super Active works by inhibiting the action of the PDE5 enzyme. This inhibition helps to increase the levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the penis. When a man experiences sexual arousal, the elevated levels of cGMP relax the smooth muscles and dilate the blood vessels in the penile region. This relaxation and improved blood flow result in an erection.

They are not intended for recreational use or for individuals who do not have erectile dysfunction.

If you are considering using Tadalista Super Active or any other medication for erectile dysfunction, it is important to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation, diagnosis, and guidance. They can provide personalized recommendations based on your individual health status and help determine the most suitable treatment options for you.

If the spam score is above 30, it's already a red flag and it simple means that the backlinks on that website are spammy. If you want to further analyze it, do check out the ratio between referring domains and the backlinks...

In case of spam, the amount of referring domains is normally too less.

My site has a spam score of 1% but it it has almost no backlinks, so I don't need to be worried.

If it would have a good backlink profile and still 30+ spam score, I would have removed the unwanted backlinks

Here are a few tips to help you reduce the spam score of your website:

Check your website for broken links: Broken links can negatively impact user experience and search engine rankings. Use a tool like Broken Link Checker to identify and fix broken links on your website.

Remove low-quality backlinks: Backlinks from low-quality or spammy websites can hurt your website's spam score. Use a tool like Ahrefs or Google Search Console to identify and disavow any low-quality backlinks pointing to your site.

Monitor your website for malware: Malware on your website can negatively impact user experience and search engine rankings. Use a tool like Sucuri or Norton Safe Web to regularly scan your website for malware and remove any malicious code.

Use proper on-page optimization techniques: Proper on-page optimization techniques like using relevant keywords, including meta tags, and optimizing images can help improve your website's search engine rankings and reduce its spam score.

Monitor your website's reputation: Monitor your website's reputation on social media and review sites to ensure that there are no negative reviews or comments that could hurt your spam score.
i also faced this issue on my this website.

I've been using the Moz Spam Score Checker and my website, sngplbill.pk, currently has a score of 7%. While this isn't exceptionally high, I'd like to take steps to bring it down as low as possible, ideally under 1%. One factor I've identified that might be contributing to this score is a number of backlinks pointing to my site has a much higher spam score (over 80%). (screenshot attached)sngplbillscore I'm wondering if the community has any recommendations for how to address this situation. Here are some specific questions I have: Does disavowing the backlinks from spamy site seem like the best course of action?
